Mazatlan

Day four greeted us with another picturesce view of mexicos beauty..........

Paul decided to go fishing with Ryan and his Dad so I hung out all day with the rest of the Johnson family. Our waiter in the dining room was from Mazatlan and told us the best beach was on stone island. so we took a water taxi over to the island and it was wonderful!! quiet and peaceful and a really beautiful beach.

Ryan's sister Brittney and her husband Nick brought their son Jack on the trip. I thoroughly enjoyed playing with that little guy when i was missing my little munchkins back home.
While we were eating lunch a guy came over and offered to let us hold his iguanas. Nick was the brave one and Jack thought they were really cool. I'm sure dad earned some points for that one!

Welcome to Mexico!!

Ok so day 3.
So Paul and I woke up bright and early to spend a glorious day in Puerto Vallarta. I had never been outside of the us and had visions of glorious beaches and palm trees.......this picture shows my first vision of Mexico. (yup thats a walmart)

Once I stoped laughing Paul and I headed out to have the adventure of out lives!! We booked the high adventure excursion and I was terrified!!! We got on a boat that took us to a small fishing village on the other side of the city. The ride took about 20 minutes and we got to see a couple of giant bat rays swimming around us. they were at least 9 feet across and swam right up to our boat. It was amazing to see them so up close! Once we reached the beach we got into military jeeps and rode up the mt to the base camp. we then took mules further up to the top of the Sierras Madras forest. By this time my heart was beating like crazy and i was starting to feel excited but VERY anxious. We were told by our guides that we would be zip lining down 10 lines and that theirs was the highest and longest in Mexico. I wish I could tell you how high up we were but all hearing lost me when i looked down. I do have to say I'm really glad i did but i don't think I'll be doing it again any time soon. Paul of course loved every minute of the zip lining. The part I did LOVE was the repelling. I think I liked it so much because i felt in control. We rappelled down 2 waterfalls and it was beautiful!!

(at one point i lost my brake and had to be rescued.my guide was VERY nice!! hehehe)

the wedding

On day 2 of our trip our good friends Ryan and Cheryl were married. They are so cute together and really bring out the best in one another. Paul and I were really honered to be there for them. We love you guys!!!

Happy Birthday Whitney

Yesterday my little Whitney turned 6. We had a wonderful day. The day stared off meeting my good friend Michelle and her daughter Taylor down in LA at the American Girl store. I let Whitney pick out any doll she wanted and she picked a "just like you doll" and named her Lilly. If any of you have girls I HIGHLY recommend going to this store! It was really neat. We went to the "salon" and got Lilly's hair done. Next we had lunch and they even had little place settings for the dolls! It was sooo cute! The girls had a blast and the food wasn't that bad!

After we got back from American Girl we met up with Paul and the boys and played around mission oaks park for awhile. We discovered lot of trails and neat things to climb on.

Lastly we went home for spaghetti and meatballs with Grammy and Pappa, opened presents and had cake and ice cream. It was a very fun day.

Whitney I just want you to know how much I love you and how proud I am of you. You truly are my "Heart and Soul".

Where's Adam?

We were playing hide and seek and Adam thought if he took off his clothes he would be invisible. Paul and I got a good laugh. Adam did not find it so funny that we found him though. Hopefully he won't try this little trick at preschool!

Jackson Aaron Peterson

I wanted to introduce our newest addition.... Jackson. I know I told all of you his name was going to be Scott, but when he came out he just didn't look like a Scott to us.

Jack was born Sep. 21 at 9:30 in the morning and lets just say I was VERY happy to have him out!!! He weighed a whooping 7lbs 12oz (my biggest baby) and is extremely cute and healthy. We have started calling him "One eye Jack" because he looks up at you with one eye open and curls his lip and looks just like a pirate.

Whitney and Adam love their baby and are big helpers to mommy. Paul and I love having a little one again but we desperately miss sleeping!!! Jack is turning out to be a lot like his big sis.Very clingy to mom and waking up every 2 hours to eat. But hes to cute to be upset with.

We feel very blessed to have him complete our family.
More pictures to follow!!!!!

School Days

So sorry this is a little late but Whitney started kindergarten 2 weeks ago and loves it!!! I was worried she wouldn't want to go because she's still a bit upset about the move but thankfully she has a awesome teacher and absolutely loves it!
Paul and I are so proud of our little princess! She is growing up to be so talented and kind. We just love her to death!!!

So i had my weekly appt with the ob to see if the baby was growing anymore.(hes been on the small side). we found out I have WAY too much fluid in my uterus and that's why I'm having all the contractions. so more bed rest for me. But because of all the extra fluid the doc was able to get some really awesome shots of Scott ( By the way we are naming him Scott Aaron). Both Whitney and Adam were there and loved seeing "their" baby. Although Adam wanted the doctor to take pics of the baby in his belly! =) So to all my friends and family out there (especially you Liz) having a baby is not fun but definitely worth it!!!
